UKChatCam Terms of Service

Terms of Service

This page sets out the deal between you and UKChatCam each time you use ukchatcam.com. By opening a match, joining a club, watching a stream or buying coins you accept them. If you do not agree, please close the site. Questions are welcome at [email protected].

01 Who can use UKChatCam

To use UKChatCam you must be 18 or older and legally able to use a chat service of this kind in your country. You may keep only one profile at a time unless we agree otherwise, and you must not use the site if we have previously removed you from it.

02 Your profile

You are responsible for what happens on your profile. Pick a display name and picture that are your own and that do not pretend to be someone else. If you think someone else has got into your profile, tell us straight away.

03 Behaviour on camera and in text

UKChatCam works when people feel comfortable switching their camera on. To keep it that way you agree not to:

  • harass, threaten, bully or insult other users, or target anyone for who they are;
  • display or share content involving anyone under 18, or any content that is illegal where you or the other person are;
  • take screenshots or capture other people’s video, audio or club posts without their agreement, or share them anywhere else;
  • ask for money, gift cards or bank details, run scams, or push people towards paid services elsewhere;
  • post links, phone numbers or other contact details for outside apps in order to move people off the site;
  • use bots, scripts or automated tools, or interfere with how matching, payments or the site itself work.

04 Clubs

Registered users can create a club. New clubs are reviewed before they appear in the Club hall, and we may refuse or remove a club whose name, picture or description breaks these terms. The person who creates a club decides whether people join instantly, need approval or must be invited, and is responsible for keeping the club inside these rules.

Every club follows the house rules set out in the app: no screenshots of other members, no outside contact details, nothing illegal and no harassment. Photos and clips shared in a club are visible to its members, so share only what you are happy for that group to see.

05 Live streams

You can watch live streams, comment and send gifts, and ask for a one to one call from inside a stream. Comments follow the same behaviour rules as everything else. Watching a stream does not entitle you to a private call; the other person can always say no.

06 Coins, VIP and gifts

New users get some free matches, and the Reward Centre on the match screen hands out more to people who stay online. After that, matches and some features use coins, which you can buy on the site. Gifts in live streams and calls are sent with coins. VIP options may change which features you get or how they work.

Coins are a licence to use features on UKChatCam; they are not money, cannot be exchanged for cash and cannot be moved to another profile. Every price appears on screen before you confirm a purchase. Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected by these terms.

07 Content you share

You keep ownership of what you post, but you give us permission to store it, display it to the people you share it with and process it as needed to run the service. By posting it, you confirm it is yours to share.

08 Reports and enforcement

You can report a profile, a stream or a club from inside the app. When rules are broken we may warn you, limit features, close a club or remove your profile, and we may keep coins already spent. Where the law requires it, we may pass information to the authorities.

09 Availability and liability

We try to keep UKChatCam running smoothly but cannot promise that it will always be available, that there will be someone to match with at any given moment, or that every conversation will go well. We are not responsible for what other users say or do, though we act on reports. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under UK law.

10 Ending your use

You can stop using UKChatCam at any time and ask us to delete your profile by emailing support. Unused coins are lost when a profile is deleted, so spend or forget them first. We may suspend or close a profile that breaks these terms, that has been inactive for a long time, or where we are required to by law. Sections that by their nature should survive, such as those on content, liability and governing law, continue to apply after your use ends.

11 Changes and contact

These terms will change from time to time as the service does. The date at the top marks the latest version, and continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the new wording. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. For anything else, write to the support address at the top of this page.
